Mashed Up!

"Mashing", as it has become known, is taking the elements from one song and overlapping it on another's. This is primarily done with Hip Hop music, by taking the beat, and throwing someone else's lyrics over it.
This opens up infinite possibilities for potential songs, and makes things pretty interesting. A recent album I stumbled upon was Tapemasters Inc. by the Mash Up Gang; Dj Chachi, Crooklyn Clan and Puerto Rico Rob.
The album consists of 23 smoothly mixed tracks, most of the lyrics being Hip-Hop oriented. They mix up music giants like Jay-Z vs. Weezer, Kanye West vs. No Doubt, Journey vs. Michael Jackson etc..
Undoubtedly a refreshing mix, I would recommend it to anyone a fan of this genre. It can be most easily accessed via Bittorrent. After downloading the client download the torrent here.
