Election Day is tomorrow. Who are you voting for? If you can't vote, who would you vote for if you could? If you can vote, but aren't voting anyway, why not?I'm voting for Kerry.

I'd flip a coin or something right outside the polls.RampantMjolnir says: Nov 1, 2004, 11:01 PM

I'm not so much voting for Kerry as I am voting against Bush, but y'know...I know what you mean. Take what you can get. *shrug*
Then again, the more I look into Kerry's ideas, the more I actually like the guy. Still, he's certainly no anti-war candidate, and I wish he'd take a leftier stance on certain issues. But I guess it's hard in a country where "Liberal" is a four-letter word.

i would have to say kerry. it just seems like bush is not honest. no politician is honest i guess, but bush seems much worse.Zeph says: Nov 2, 2004, 3:00 PM
I like Kerry's ideas, but I don't think he could make them succeed. Sadly, I'd vote Bush.dizzle says: Nov 2, 2004, 3:23 PM
bush more me, at least i know where he standsccarpenter says: Nov 2, 2004, 5:22 PM
Zeph has a good outlook on this. So far it's looking like Kerry has the lead. We'll see how it turns out.cvincent says: Nov 2, 2004, 5:25 PM
I like Kerry's ideas, but I don't think he could make them succeed. Sadly, I'd vote Bush.If he couldn't make them succeed, it would be because of the Republican majority in Congress. But he would still have veto power (something the President has not used once).
Plus, I would much rather see Kerry elected and unable to pass his ideas for the first two years than see Bush elected and able to pass whatever he wants (we've seen what that leads to over the past two years).

I'm calling it for Kerry. Right now.I'll poke myself in the eye if I'm wrong. Yep. Big stakes for me.

I didn't vote. Yessss. The final verdict: noone wins.ccarpenter says: Nov 2, 2004, 6:09 PM
156-112? Better stick a contact in.Actually, there's no way to call it right now. It's a 50/50 chance that your eye takes the finger.
cvincent says: Nov 2, 2004, 6:43 PM
Yeah, but I'm calling it anyway. I didn't decide based on the current projections. The Devil told me to.ccarpenter says: Nov 2, 2004, 8:35 PM
Ah, I see. It's 210-144 at this point, but Cali. will probably go Kerry. That puts it at 210-199 and it's up in the air depending on who wins Ohio.cvincent says: Nov 2, 2004, 8:39 PM
It's going to be incredibly close no matter what. The whole damn country is nervous right now.Leon5465 says: Nov 2, 2004, 10:23 PM
All Bush needs is one more state :Dcvincent says: Nov 3, 2004, 12:45 AM
Well, his chances are incredibly slim now. If Kerry were to pull a victory at this point, it would more than top the Red Sox comeback.I'm a little depressed, but at least I earned the right to complain by voting.

So... did you poke your eye yet?cvincent says: Nov 4, 2004, 12:58 AM
Yeah.ccarpenter says: Nov 4, 2004, 10:32 AM
He's lying. The bitch never poked his eye.cvincent says: Nov 4, 2004, 10:45 AM
Yes I did.ccarpenter says: Nov 7, 2004, 5:40 PM
Ha, you just said you were a bitch.Leon5465 says: Nov 7, 2004, 5:50 PM
OOOooo.. got him there!cvincent says: Nov 8, 2004, 1:23 PM
I did not intend that, so I did not actually call myself a bitch.Post Reply
