Why didn't I just add this to the Improvement thread already established? Well, at sixteen posts, it's kind of large. So bleh.Anyways, comments on the news on the front page should be linked into a forum instead of just a giant comments list. The latest post provides a good reason.
This idea coupled with my earlier idea of widening the forums by annihilating (damn i love that word) right side bar would be an excellent improvment in my mind.

That's a pretty good call, Joe. I could just have a new forum thread automatically created for each blog entry.The downside? Permalinks will look just like regular forum posts. I dunno. Hmm...
I'll weigh the options. Thanks for the suggestion, it got me thinking!

Here's an idea on that: if there get to be more than a certain number of comments, the whole thing is transfered to the forum. If there are fewer than that number, keep it on the comments.Post Reply
